Grief 101: Uncovering
Your Healing Path
Grieving is one of life’s most challenging and painful experiences. Those experiencing grief often feel alone, depressed, and angry. It’s common to feel guilt and regret too. These emotions can be intense, confusing and feel out of control. We aren’t faced with such strong feelings regularly, which makes dealing with them particularly challenging.
At 33, I lost my father to Cancer, rocking my world! I didn’t recognize who I was anymore. My life as I knew it would never be the same. I suffered in silence for 12 years. Stuck in grief and loneliness, I suppressed my feelings, thinking I was protecting myself, but things quickly spiralled after that. Not expressing my emotions kept me stuck in my suffering, and I don’t want the same for you.
