Grief 101

Helping you navigate through grief

Grieving is one of life’s most challenging and painful experiences. Those experiencing grief often feel alone, depressed, and angry. It’s common to feel guilt and regret too. These emotions can be intense, confusing and feel out of control. We aren’t faced with such strong feelings regularly, which makes dealing with them particularly challenging.

At 33, I lost my father to Cancer, rocking my world! I didn’t recognize who I was anymore. My life as I knew it would never be the same. I suffered in silence for 12 years. Stuck in grief and loneliness, I suppressed my feelings, thinking I was protecting myself, but things quickly spiralled after that.  Not expressing my emotions kept me stuck in my suffering, and I don’t want the same for you.

Through my experience, I can help you feel less alone, tell you what didn’t work for me and help you with what I have learned that I know will help cut your grief time half. Everyone’s grief journeys are different, but love and the human heart are universal. You don’t have to go through this pain alone.

Although there are many different types of loss, this course focuses primarily on grief associated with the passing of a loved one. However, as you move through the course, you may find that some principles will also be helpful during other experiences of loss as well.

This course included videos, lessons and worksheets. You will also receive a digital copy of my book “Giving My Heart Room To Breathe: A Journey through Grief, Healing and Giving.
